Sad news, but trimming the fat is what people wanted Mozilla to do. Anyone know a good alternative to Fakespot? I absolutely don’t trust amazon’s own review summaries, and expect other alternatives would be for-profit data harvesters.

Im in the same boat as you. Insanity. There is a way to disable smart features (and internet/ads) after a factory reset if you dont need any apps like youtube, etc.
I already don’t but so far that hasn’t worked. Mass boycotting just doesnt exist in modern day. We don’t have enough inertia to sway the ignorant.
Seems like an SEO article. Im all for getting simplified articles easily accessible to the people who pick up a steam deck or the steamos lenovo legion and really do go “whats the difference between proton experimental and proton 7”
That giant handheld Nitro 11 looks atrocious. Happy to see handhelds entering the market after the steam deck, but this ain’t it.
Every year since the day I switched has been my year of the linux desktop
Touch capacitance on the stick is a gyro-must for me, so im happy to finally see a controller with this. actually just ordered this from amazon japan, didnt think it would actually get a US release.
sent from my Xcover6 Pro.
Replaced my xcover, which replaced my lg g5. Wish it got more love in the foss OS department. Love all the hardware features but dont love samsung. First party support for a phone like this though is a benefit
This is my go-to linux music player purely and simply for the fact it supports winamp classic skins
There was and it was fixed by the looks of it. Guessing these apps have not urgently pulled the fixes in and released an update, so F-droid is urging people not to use the apps until so
I seem to be in the unpopular opinion camp with this, but I actually really like it. I am a huge fan of the gyro+stick combo with touch capacitance, and this is the only controller to release with that steam deck touch capacitance feature. Biggest criticism I have for it is the lack of vibration, but im optimistic about this controller
Pretty much. Isolated environments to run a single service usually, although someone with more familiarity can comment further
Worse than this, was their logo video for Tony Hawk’s Underground, where Eric the rival character gets attacked and pulled into the sewers by the T.H.I.N.G. and gets reduced to bones.
Sounds like your best bet is to self host an email service
If it is M1 or M2 Asahi Linux is the way to go, but it is still in development and probably not ready for your mom
Dont have it in front of me so instructions might be off, but Audacious can load any winamp skin you download, it is available as an option in the customization settings. You might have to drop it into a skins system folder on audacious, but winamp skins are one of the theme options you can pick on audacious. Looks just like winamp but the backend stuff is different (right click menu’s, etc.)
It’s like having a second or third monitor but instead of moving your eyes to the other monitor you move the desktop you’re currently looking at.
Legit malware shown in this article. Imagine an operating system/browser injecting what are essentially ads into your webpage. Whether or not chrome or edge are any good these are scummy tactics by microsoft
Sounds to me like you would really enjoy the high customization and windows-like defaults of the KDE Plasma desktop environment. Unfortunately Mint doesn’t offer a KDE Plasma desktop version (although its available in its packages, its not recommended to install it on Mint). If Mint doesn’t satisfy you, maybe Kubuntu or Fedora KDE would be more up your alley.
